yesterday i took my little guy to the vet after starting to worry about his excessive drinking and then puking. they did blood work on him, and my vet called me this morning to let me know everything seemed fine. the only number that worried her was the one related to his kidneys. i guess because he is an older gentleman, his kidneys are no longer working as well as they are suppose to. i just got back from picking up some samples of special foods for his kidneys. he has always been a dry food lover, but i need to try & get him to eat the wet stuff instead... right now he is curled up under the blanket napping the afternoon away, and i keep bugging him...so he is going to be fine.
this whole thing sort of took the wind out of my sails for the last day or so, though. i am going to be working really hard over the weekend to get more stuff made for the shop, which means green tea cups, regular tea cups, and finally the return of the sasquatches & yetis. so be sure to check in monday! |

i am glad he's ok! my old man kitty has asthma and behavioral issues... i'd fall apart if anything happened to him :(
I'm glad things are okay with your lil man. I know what it is to worry (and if you ever need a sympathetic ear, I'm here) but it sounds like with an adjustment or two he'll be back to picking up your crafting slack in no time!
I can't wait to see those green teas! :)
healthy thoughts for your guy! Nice of him to let you post a photo from inside his Sekrit Lair.
Good luck with the food change! it seems like most kitties like wet food, I hope he shares that opinion :) | |
